Sidewinder Canyon

"Victor, this plan is NOT going to work."
"Oh, but you haven't even heard the best part yet..."


Here's a picture that started as a sketch and grew into something more ambitious. It pretty much sums up Victor and Kendra's relationship throughout the first act of my book. Victor is suggesting some tricky, duplicitous plot, and Kendra highly disapproves.

In the background is Sidewinder canyon, obviously inspired by parts of the Grand Canyon, which forms the limit of the Badlands' western most border, and plays host to the frontier settlement of Sidewinder at its conclusion.

I am trying to get better and less lazy with my backgrounds, tell me what you think!
